How do you distinguish a single product on a packed supermarket shelf? The process of answering this question has probably cost companies, marking experts and economists billions so far. Although there is undoubtedly an unimaginable large number of opinions, they all agree on a key postulate: quality product and quality packaging are of utmost importance. Packaging and visual experience have the task of leaving a strong first impression on the customer who will then be retained by the quality. Over time, a unique psychological bond between the customer and the product is built, which essentially begins with a simple glance at something that, in a sea of similar products, has attracted attention. Recognizing the importance of this fact, Inmold robot engineers work tirelessly on innovations related to IML technologies, pushing the boundaries of quality, possibilities and efficiency of modern product packaging labeling.
Now those efforts are embodied by the new R928 IML robot, unique both on the Serbian market and in Europe. Designed to label 200ml plastic packages, this robot aims to significantly increase the efficiency of the process and provide operators with additional work comfort and safety. A total of 12 nests, arranged in 3 equal lines represent a new engineering achievement of the Inmold team and will enable the new owners to have a higher flow of packaging per minute. As an additional wind behind efficiency, and what sets this robot apart on the market, is a new system for changing the label magazine, as well as an automatic system for discarding scraps. In order to make working on this robot even easier, we designed it to make visual inspections and eventual service very simple.
